Written by Women's Project is seeking photographs of New York City through the eyes of immigrants for exhibition in their lobby during the run of ALIENS WITH EXTRAORDINARY SKILLS (September 22 – October 26). If you are an immigrant (first and second generation as well) living in NYC, send your pics, along with 3 or 4 sentences about your immigrant experience and your photo! More information below.
They are specifically looking for photos that somehow incorporate the stars and stripes. (See Flagstories at www.saviany.blogspot.com/ for examples). Regardless of whether you are an amateur photographer or a professional, they encourage you to submit.

1.One to two photographs.
2.A 3-4 sentence blurb (typewritten) on your immigrant experience and why you find the photo interesting.
3.Contact information: Full name, mailing address, email address and phone number.
