Cat-eye makeup how to with Charlene Kaye and Bdellium Tools Makeup Brush Give away!

I was first introduced to Charlene Kaye by my cousin Rebecca. She sent me a few Youtube videos and said, “Watch this.”

I let the videos get buried under my to-do list a few times before finally clicking on one.

The song that drew me was a duet she did with Darren Criss called, “Skin and Bones.” The video, a cute little cardboard cut-out narrative directed by her younger sister Liann really captured my heart.

Charlene and I have worked together a few times since, and it’s always a joy when we get to come together, and get creative.

Because I am an Asian American woman, I am often asked by other women of similar ethnic backgrounds to address the burning makeup question that all women, regardless of race have: “What do I do with my eyes?”

Eye makeup is probably one of the most intimidating parts of a makeup application. For a woman whom the majority of cosmetics companies have not traditionally marketed to, it can be extra intimidating. But for a makeup artist, the hooded eyelid, or mono-lid, is a wonderful blank canvas.

I hope you enjoy my video!

And please enter the rafflecopter for a chance to win one of 10 sets of Bdellium’s 12pc Anti-bacterial travel brush sets.

  1. Confidence comes when you know that you have the right outfit and the best makeup for the party. Putting at the hands of a stranger before the big night could result in complete disaster. for more information you can visit party makeup
